Viasat and HughesNet offer the best deals for NYC customers who need satellite internet.

Viasat can get you download speeds up to 100Mbps, which is plenty for browsing, working from home, online gaming, and, of course, binging the new season of the Great British Baking Show. It offers high data caps, which means big families don’t have to worry so much about going over their limit.
